Salom Wins Dyson Power Supply Commodity Award 2026

On 7th May 2026 at St James Power Station, Singapore. Salom was represented on stage by Steve Hawes, Managing Director of Salom Europe, and Dr. Jing Wang, Chief Technology Officer of Salom Xiamen HQ, who accepted the honours on behalf of the company.

This May, Dyson held Strategic Supplier Summit 2026 in Singapore. The event brought together Dyson’s CEO and its R&D and Operation teams, along with senior leaders and other representatives from strategic suppliers worldwide. Together, we reviewed the collaborative achievements of the past year and engaged in in-depth discussions on Dyson’s future direction, supply chain strategy, and plans for innovation-driven partnership.

The Strategic Supplier Summit is one of Dyson’s most significant annual global supply chain events. The summit not only shares the future product roadmap and supply chain development priorities, but also recognises outstanding supplier performance across quality, innovation, supply chain management, and overall collaboration. All awards are based on comprehensive, year long performance evaluations, making them exceptionally prestigious and highly valued within the industry.

At this year’s Summit, Salom won the Power Supply Commodity Award and was also nominated for the Quality Award – one of three suppliers to receive this nomination. Winning the Power Supply Commodity Award fully reflects Dyson’s strong recognition of Salom’s product competitiveness, supply assurance, cost management, project support, and long term collaborative performance. At the same time, being a nominee for the Quality Award demonstrates that Salom’s quality control and delivery performance consistently meet the high standards expected by world class customers.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of Salom teams across R&D, Procurement, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, and Overseas Sales. Everyone’s professional commitment, continuous improvement, and close collaboration in their daily work have been fundamental to building the trust and recognition we enjoy from our customers.
