Salom Wins Panasonic Supplier Award For Environmental Contribution
Salom won the Panasonic Supplier Award for 2025 Environmental Contribution, recognizing its achievements in green manufacturing and technological innovation. Standing out among 290 entries across Panasonic’s Global Supply Chain, Salom received the award at the Xiamen Panasonic Supplier Award Ceremony on June 12, 2026.
Salom was the sole Environmental Contribution Award winner among eight suppliers recognized at the ceremony, with two receiving the Quality Award and five receiving the Handover Cooperation Award.
From supplying electronic components in early years to jointly advancing toward carbon neutrality today, Salom has remained closely aligned with Panasonic’s Green Impact vision. This recognition further underscores the trust and collaboration built over half a century.
Salom received this year’s recognition for its solution: Reducing CD/CO₂ Emissions Through a New Power IC and Simplified Circuit Design, which earned high praise from the evaluation committee.

Through innovative circuit design, the solution not only simplified circuit architecture but also achieved an optimal balance between product performance and environmental sustainability, significantly improving both energy efficiency and environmental performance. The design earned Salom the award and was also officially included in Panasonic’s Environmental Technology Database as No. PEAC-2025-002E, where it now serves as a best-practice example of green manufacturing across Panasonic's Global Supply Chain.
Following its Supplier Award in 2021, this latest recognition reflected Salom's continued commitment to advancing both technological innovation and environmental sustainability.
