LEAN methodology

LEAN manufacturing is a systematic method of minimizing waste in all areas of manufacturing without sacrificing quality or productivity.

This methodology allows us to focus on the areas of the process that add maximum customer value. Associated savings are then returned to the customer to ensure that we maximise our value, cost leadership and competitiveness.

Identify

We actively identify areas of the process workflow that provide opportunities for enhancement. As our staff are our greatest asset, we have implemented a staff reward program to encourage team members to contribute any ideas that identify and deliver savings.

Plan

We collectively evaluate and agree on solutions to enhance performance. This may be simple changes to the process workflow that refine and remove unwanted steps for incremental improvement, or larger scale automation for a fully streamlined workflow.

Execute

To minimize the risk of disruption, we only implement proposed changes to the associated plan upon full agreement with our customers, and we carefully check each stage for full validation and sign off.

Review

Once the process flow enhancements are implemented, we continue to monitor and report the changes to ensure consistent high-performance output. The optimisation is continuous.
