Salom Exhibits at Wireless Japan 2026
Wireless Japan 2026 was held at Tokyo Big Sight West Hall for three days, from May 27 to May 29, 2026. The event attracted a total of 34,413 visitors over the three-day period, up from previous years.

Salom Japan exhibited jointly with Iontra at the MCPC Pavilion of the Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium. This exhibition was not simply a product display. It was an important opportunity to present Salom Japan’s commitment to promoting safer charging technologies with new charging solutions developed through the Salom/Iontra collaboration.

Salom Japan participates in MCPC as one of its 90 supporting member companies, contributing to activities aimed at improving the safety certification framework for mobile charging. By exhibiting within the MCPC Pavilion, Salom Japan was able to demonstrate that it is not only a supplier of charging products, but also a company actively engaged in improving the safety of mobile device charging.
At the exhibition, Salom Japan and Iontra introduced safety-enhancing charging technologies for mobile batteries and USB chargers. By combining Iontra’s intelligent charging technology with Salom’s charger and adapter products, we were able to show visitors the potential to achieve fast charging, extended battery life and improved safety.
In addition, Salom’s new SSP products, including the 65W and 100W USB PD adapters, were displayed. The SSP products are Salom’s new USB PD adapter series, featuring compact size, high output and high efficiency. They are expected to be applicable to a wide range of products, including mobile devices, notebook PCs, peripheral devices and professional-use equipment. Visitors and potential Distributors asked specific questions regarding output specifications, PPS/AVS support, thermal characteristics, safety, mass-production timing and pricing confirming strong interest in quality charging products.

On the final day of the exhibition, May 29, President Kuroki of Salom Japan, Tomita of Salom Japan, and Mr. Hall of Iontra, held a joint technical seminar titled: “Iontra Intelligent Charging with Salom Adaptor for Superior Battery Safety”.

The seminar was over subscribed and very well received. This seminar confirmed that the Salom/Iontra collaboration has the potential to be accepted as a new safety-oriented charging solution in the Japanese market and beyond, as safety improvement and battery life extension are expected to become increasingly important themes in a wide range of battery-powered fields, including mobile batteries, smartphones, notebook PCs, industrial equipment, medical devices, and professional-use equipment.
Salom will continue its activities within MCPC and will work to promote the adoption of safer charging technologies for the global market.
