Salom Showcases Iontra PD and Simplify PD Charging Line at CIBF 2026
Salom was proud to showcase several of its latest USB-PD charging products at CIBF 2026 in Shenzhen, appearing alongside technology partner Iontra at the Intralink booth. The event provided an excellent opportunity for Salom to introduce its Iontra PD power platform to battery suppliers, technology partners, and customers looking for new ways to improve battery performance.

A key highlight of the show was Salom’s new Iontra 100W PD charger, the world’s first USB-PD compliant charger featuring Iontra charging technology. The product demonstrates how Salom’s power supply expertise can be combined with Iontra’s breakthrough charging architecture to unlock meaningful improvements in battery performance, safety, and longevity.
Visitors were excited to learn how the Salom-Iontra platform can be adapted across different power outputs and applications. Iontra has demonstrated the ability to improve charging speed by up to 2X, extend battery cycle life by up to 3X, enhance battery safety, and improve cold-weather charging performance. For customers working with battery-powered devices, these improvements represent a compelling opportunity to deliver better user experiences while extending the usable life of their products.

Iontra is a key technology partner in Salom’s broader sustainability strategy. Under Salom’s product life cycle sustainability framework from our Carbon Reduction Plan, the “Usage” stage focuses on improving the efficiency of charging products and extending the lifetime of the devices they power. By helping batteries charge more efficiently and increase their cycle life, the Salom-Iontra PD platform directly supports this goal and helps reduce our Carbon footprint.
In addition to the Iontra 100W PD charger, Salom also showcased its new Simplify PD line, featuring 65W and 100W multiport chargers designed to deliver powerful, flexible charging in a streamlined format.
Saloms presence at CIBF was led by Sales Director Hira Wu, with support from the Marcom team and engineering to provide additional technical expertise during customer discussions. Salom C.O.O. Kiff Wang also visited the show to support the team and meet with Iontra and potential customers.
Throughout the event, Salom met with multiple battery suppliers to discuss integrating the Iontra charging architecture into current battery offerings, as well as opportunities for joint collaboration in promoting the Salom-Iontra PD platform. The positive response from visitors and partners created strong momentum, and Salom hopes to carry that energy forward into new business opportunities this year.
Salom will continue showcasing the Salom-Iontra charging system at Wireless Japan 2026, taking place May 27–29 in Japan, where attendees will be able to see a live demo of the platform.
If you are looking for a power supply partner to help you reach your sustainability goals, we’d love to discuss your project.
